My birthday is in exactly one month and Mother’s Day is in one week. I have been a mom for quite some time now, and have loved every moment of it. I have had many birthdays now. I’ve been wondering what gifts I wanted, but today reminded me of what I want. Today was quite different though because I birthed Ms. Sedinam Genevieve On March 24, 2021, but today was the first day that I was able to hold her.
39 days after birthing my baby girl, I walked into NICU surprised that Nurse H shared I could hold her. So many emotions took over my body! For over 2 hours I was able to hold Sedinam close to my chest and overall she did amazing. This was the first time she had been held like this also. I have been smiling all day!
I was able to FaceTime her Godmommy and her cousin to share this experience with me! May God Continue to be with her!
