I meet strangers and I send them cards….

I went shopping last night. I didn’t need to, but I did. I figured I would “find” something to wear to go to a concert. I found a couple of things…I did not need, but I figured I could use it for another event (don’t judge me ladies…. Jayla and Reif..).

My original plan was to go to kickboxing, but a friend asked me out to eat and then we went shopping…. I’m going to blame him for the shopping last night too…but I found only two things to purchase…

When I walked up to the register I giggled to myself because I listened to two women. Their conversation was quite hilarious and it dawned on me that my girlfriend and I had a similar conversation the other day. They didn’t ask, but I interjected my two sense about living a positive life. I definitely don’t have the answer to all, but I do know that it’s sometimes the small things to help a person change. For these ladies, they were discussing forgiveness, they were discussing how they were trying not to allow their facial expressions indicate how they were feeling. It was too funny, but we all have to work on both.

I forgive easily. I have a simple logic; life is too short. I walk away easily and I also have a simple logic; life is too short. I don’t typically get upset with people. I have another simple logic; life is too short!

I smile most of the time because I have a simple logic; you following?? Life is too short??

So my conversation with them was interesting because they listened to me. I shared stories of my dope circle; the cards, the inspirational messages; the pop up visits, and they were in awe.

I have their addresses and I promised to write them cards. The cards were purchased by a friend of mine and I’m able to pass it forward and send to complete strangers. Sometimes a simple word of encouragement makes a difference!

I pray that the two ladies get the strength to see the simple logic of life; life is too short for a lot. And maybe they will pass on a card. I promised I would add a stamp in there with their card, so that they can!
