My feet has kept me stable

The shoes that walked the streets of Charlotte NC; drinking coffee with my homeless friend are the same shoes that I stood on a boat on The Sea of Galilee and walked in the Jordan River.

They are the same shoes that took solo trips to Spain and Luxembourg and the Bahamas in hopes of obtaining clarity.

They are the same shoes that protect my feet; the feet that has stood in lines for rollercoasters, concerts, sat for pedicures, held my body up during those beautiful events; weddings, graduations, party’s, Greek events. The same feet that walked miles just to get away from those unexpected moments of life…where you need a laugh to yourself or even a silent moment to process the what, who, why in the hell, but I see the purpose, and of course the how, when, and where.

The feet that stood beside my sons hospital bed were the same feet that walked beside him in France and stood up to clap for him when he made his first and even third basket during his game. They are the same feet that ran their first 1/2 marathon with no problems.

My feet represent my travels, the marvels of life, the joys and even trials of what I have conquered and what is to come. In order to continue growing, we must continue to walk our journey and ensure we are taking care of ourselves.

As you continue your day, show gratitude for all of your life’s circumstances!

Walk your path and embrace every moment!
